2010 Yamaha YZ450F

The new 2010 Yamaha YZ450F is a hard running off road horse as well as an eye candy for the crazy. It has everything to offer the interested. High power, great controlled ride, comfort and the incredible grip (of course only when you are not in the air!) making it stand out from the rest. It is the fifth generation of the YZ series, started in 1998 by Yamaha, with YZ400F. It was the 4 stroke model to pioneer in the 2 stroke dominated dirt racing world. The prime feature in this YZ is its rear mounted engine. It shifts the mass to the center of the bike, adding to its maneuverability. This is a big leap in the features as this 250 pounder thus competes with the way lighter 250 cc bikes. The air inlet and the exhaust out have a different orientation in this bike. The front mounted air inlet in 2010 Yamaha YZ450F frees the problem with dirt flying off the rear wheel. The valves have been reduced to four in this engine with easily adjustable fuel control according to rider and track. The 12 hole fuel injector has been introduced in this bike with the 44mm Keihin throttle body injection.

The lighter frame made out of aluminum harnesses all the parts and the 450 cc liquid cooled engine. This has created the most mass centralized bike, the new 2010 Yamaha YZ450F. This bike also boasts better looks with added and strategically placed panels near knees and boots to conceal the scuffling. This is high end bike and thus comes with a lot of modification parts from Yamaha, right from the power plant to the visuals. The package bike will have a liquid cooled 449cc DOHC engine with 4 valves. This engine is a wide bore-small stroke engine. The 5 speed constant mesh transmission meets a final chain drive.
